Staying that close to route 66, we just HAD to drive part of it ofcourse :-)
Today, 18th of September, we took a trip up north to Calico Ghost Town, following the route 66 up to Barstow.
It took us about 1 hour. Driving with kids, we didn’t want to make it to long of a trip, so this was perfect.
The kids probably thought it was a bit boring, but we (Herbert and I) enjoyed it :-)
